Ferrari SP Arya: the Ferrari made to order
The latest stunt from Cheerag Arya, an Indian millionaire living in Dubai, is having commissioned a Ferrari 599 GTO, with an exclusive redesign that will be delivered before the end of the year.

Cheerag Arya is an Indian citizen who lives in the United Arab Emirates, but who has spent most of his life in the USA, so you can imagine he has a certain financial backing that the rest of us don’t. In fact, his family owns petrochemical industries, having set up one of its latest facilities in the Emirates.
But Cheerag Arya’s passion is Ferrari, especially if they have an V12 engine. Having first come across the F40 in its heyday, and with the ease of being able to get his hands on practically anything he fancies, cheque book in hand, this man has held nothing back and has built up a genuine collection of Ferrari from almost every era. That’s why it wasn’t hard for him to ask Ferrari for a made-to-order model, after receiving his 599XX and the SA Aperta.
The model in question will use a 599 GTO as its base, keeping the original powertrain, although Arya admits he might “play” with the exhausts or the suspension. What is different from what has been seen so far is the exterior design; Maranello’s designers showed Arya 12 designs of his idea, of which he has chosen a few and “blended” them into the final result you have before you.
Arya says the car will be in Dubai most of the time, as it will be a very personal gift he is giving himself. The only chance of seeing it in Europe is in the summer, since Cheerag Arya says he will take it to Europe in the summer to make the rest of the staff drool. Although a Ferrari that is unique of its kind and made to order will be a bit hard to hide, don’t you think?
