FIAT 500X Dolcevita, two new trims and convertibles

A convertible car is always something we enjoy. Feeling the wind on your face, yet feeling completely safe and comfortable. And although the FIAT 500X is not one of the cars we associate with this pleasure while driving, several trims have been launched: the FIAT 500X Dolcevita and the 500X Yacht Club Capri, which feature a fabric soft top. An unprecedented solution in a crossover, but one very closely associated with the FIAT 500.

Now, some time after the launch of the Launch Edition trims of both variants, the fabric soft tops arrive in the Connect and Sport trims, completing the entire range of the small crossover. The Dolcevita roof is available in two colours, black and red, designed to contrast with the 10 body colour options available for these models.

Quick and efficient operation

The fabric roof retracts in just 15 seconds at speeds of up to 100 km/h with the press of a button. Its design means it does not need to be stowed in the boot, so the boot capacity is guaranteed and is not reduced by its presence. Rear-seat passengers can also enjoy the experience of travelling with the roof open, thanks to its design and the space it leaves free for this.

There are four trim levels across both variants, which are already on sale in Spain.

• Cult: The entry-level trim offers a range of body colours and blue upholstery with the FIAT logo embroidered on the seats, plus a blue dashboard specific to this trim.
• Connect: Designed for those who value connectivity and good equipment, it features the UConnect infotainment system with a 7-inch screen, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This is complemented by black upholstered seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and 17-inch alloy wheels. The fog lights and LED headlights provide a distinctive light signature, and the window surrounds are finished in black.
• Cross: The third trim level is aimed at those who want to take advantage of the model’s off-road capabilities. It has camouflage upholstery on the centre of the seat, 19-inch wheels, roof bars, air conditioning and parking sensors, all as standard.
• Sport: The top of the Fiat 500X range features 18-inch gloss black wheels. It also has a rear spoiler, sporty black upholstered seats with the 500 logo embroidered in red, a Matt Titanium dashboard and fog lights.

The FIAT 500X is available in its Yacht Club Capri version, dedicated to one of Italy’s most exclusive yacht clubs, and Dolcevita, with two petrol engines and one diesel. The two petrol units are a 1.0 producing 108 CV and a 1.3-litre producing 150 CV. The diesel engine is a 1.6-litre producing 130 CV.
