FIAT Toro: 10 years of a model we won't see in Europe
The FIAT Toro has spent ten years on the Brazilian market and has already sold around 600,000 units across South America, becoming a reference for its users.

There are models that are very popular in the markets where they are sold, but that never reach others, more typical of the brand in question. The FIAT Toro is one of those vehicles that are very popular in the South American market but have never arrived in Europe. It is a pick-up designed for the hard work usually carried out in those countries, and it has been designed to offer solutions for its users.
It was launched in 2016, so this year marks the first 10 years since its launch, and 600,000 units have been manufactured with considerable success in the South American market. In Brazil alone, its main market, just over half a million units have been sold, making it one of the most sought-after work and leisure vehicles on the Brazilian market.

The tenth anniversary of the FIAT Toro coincides with the 50 years of FIAT do Brasil, the brand’s subsidiary in the Carioca country. The presence of FIAT in Brazil is proof of the efforts the brand has made to adapt to the needs of users in each specific market.
The FIAT Toro was designed to offer a pick-up of less than five metres that could combine the load capacity of a van with the capabilities of a modern SUV. This resulted in a vehicle that serves workers looking for a robust and efficient vehicle, as well as urban users who need a pick-up that lets them leave the city and venture onto other terrains without sacrificing comfort.

The new FIAT Toro
The Lollapalooza Brasil 2026 was the stage where a new prototype of the Toro was presented, shown at the Interlagos Autodrome. This special edition of the Toro features a combination of purple and black colours. A pixelated map of South America and the number “50” appear on the bodywork to mark the brand’s presence in the country over those 50 years.
The front end has been redesigned and a new grille has been installed. The most up-to-date LED headlights and illuminated roof bars mark the new style of the FIAT Toro, which continues to target young buyers who need a versatile vehicle but in line with current trends.
As for engines, it offers a wide range so that each user can find the engine they need, from diesel blocks to modern petrol and ethanol engines. It also comes in front-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions, so that it suits the needs of each user and the work the Toro will be doing.
FIAT do Brasil is committed to keeping the popular Brazilian pick-up a reference in the Brazilian market and ensuring it enjoys at least ten more years of success in the South American market.
