A few days ago we showed you the rear end, and today we show you the new BMW M3 Touring thanks to a leak.

Just a few hours ago, we presented a very special video that the Bavarian brand published to leave us wanting more and to reveal the rear end of one of its most anticipated models: the BMW M3 Touring. As you know, almost 20 years have passed since the BMW M3 E46 Touring was unveiled. At that time, the idea of a naturally aspirated rear-wheel-drive sports car with a touring body was enough to become an object of desire.

Back then, drivers were not lucky enough to see that concept reach the production line, but it has always held a place in the hearts of enthusiasts of the most powerful letter in the world. Now, the brand’s high-performance division has once again filled our hearts with the new BMW M3 Touring.

The new BMW M3 Touring leaks

The new Bavarian sports touring is neither naturally aspirated nor rear-wheel drive, but for the times we live in, it’s not bad at all. At first glance, the model looks very much like what we all might have imagined for the new car. The Bavarian brand has kept most of the characteristics of the BMW M3, although the new model features the new and controversial BMW grille.

The rear end is quite similar to that of the original BMW M3 E46 Touring. Some reports have indicated that the new BMW M3 Touring arriving in 2023 will be xDrive and Competition, and it is expected to arrive that way in all markets. The truth is that we regret the loss of the combination of rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox, but really, who wouldn’t want to get behind the wheel of a sporty estate with more than 500 CV of power to do the shopping or pick up the kids and still be able to hit a racetrack?

We are eager to learn more details about this new model. What we are sure of is that it will be a very tough rival for the Audi RS6 Avant, don’t you think?
