Peugeot 3008 Hybrid Active Pack: the best-selling plug-in hybrid in Spain, now more affordable
Peugeot adds an entry-level version with the Active Pack trim to the 3008 Hybrid range, improving the offer of the best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV on the market

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid closed 2021 as the best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle on the Spanish market, a position it has maintained so far in 2022. Now, to improve the offer in the hybrid SUV segment, the French brand adds an entry-level version with the Active Pack trim, which sits in the range below the Allure Pack.
For an entry-level trim, the 3008 Active Pack comes with good standard equipment, highlighting the following elements, among others:
- 18” alloy wheels with a specific design
- Camera- and radar-based emergency braking
- 3D navigation with connectivity services including real-time traffic information
- Seats with specific Colyn upholstery and manual lumbar adjustment on the driver’s side
- Door panels with carbon-effect trim
Petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid versions
This Active Pack trim is reserved for the 225 e-EAT8 version, which combines the 1.6 turbo petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a maximum output of 225 CV, and is also offered with the Allure and GT trims; above it remains the 300 e-AT8, with 300 CV and all-wheel drive thanks to a second electric motor on the rear axle, available with Allure and GT trims.

Besides the plug-in hybrid, the Peugeot 3008 range, which received a technical and aesthetic update in early 2021, offers a choice of Puretech petrol and 130 CV BlueHDI diesel engines, available with both manual gearbox and the 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox, although without any form of hybridisation. Therefore, the 3008 range does not offer variants with an ECO label, only with the C label for the petrol and diesel engines, and with the CERO label for the plug-in hybrids.
The starting price of the new Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 225 e-EAT8 Active Pack, according to the brand’s own configurator, starts from 43,000 euros.
