Fisker EMotion: the electric saloon that will put the Tesla Model S under pressure
Fisker has just used CES 2018 to unveil its latest creation, the EMotion. This luxury saloon produces 780 CV and offers a range of 600 km.

Many vehicles have been revealed before CES 2018 got underway, however, today one of the world’s most important technology shows opens its doors, and we will be able to see them in all their glory. Alongside this opening, we find the Fisker EMotion, a model that arrives with the intention of making the brand rise from its ashes and bloom once again. The company built the Karma for one year, ending in 2012. Over time, they have gathered everything they learned and reinterpreted it with this new model.
Fisker has stepped forward and shown the world its new creation, which arrives eager to leave a lasting good impression on anyone who backs the brand. We find a series of changes that position the new EMotion as a genuine automotive revolution, both for its striking styling and its advanced mechanics, which incorporates some very interesting novelties.
The first thing that catches the eye of the Fisker EMotion is its bold design, which conveys sportiness and luxury from every angle. It features a sharp, muscular front end, despite having no combustion engine under its skin. The side and rear follow the same philosophy applied to the front and, as a result, we get a vehicle with great presence and sportiness.

Another element we quickly notice are its doors, which feature a very distinctive opening system. The front doors have been designed following the pattern of butterfly doors, but the most curious touch has been reserved for access to the rear seats. The rear doors are held by a hinge installed on the C-pillar, which causes them to open upwards, allowing comfortable and unobstructed entry.
Once it is clear that its design is impressive, we must focus on the mechanics this new Fisker incorporates. It is true that the company’s first model featured a complex hybrid propulsion system, but this time Fisker’s engineers have opted for electric power. The luxury saloon has two batteries that provide a total range of over 600 kilometres. Furthermore, the company has made sure to reduce charging time as much as possible, needing only nine minutes to cover 200 kilometres.

At the same time, the EMotion delivers close to 800 CV and allows the 0 to 100 sprint to happen in under three seconds. Fisker has already opened the reservation period, which is made by leaving a deposit of 2,000 dollars, to which you will later have to pay a total of 129,900 dollars, 108,900 euros at the current exchange rate.
