Ford renews the C-MAX's look

Following the example set by the S-MAX a few days ago, today it is the turn of the facelift of the C-MAX, the American brand’s mid-size MPV. This restyling will be presented at the Paris Motor Show.
This is not a new generation as in the case of the S-MAX, but an update focused on styling that also includes new powertrains.
On the styling front there are numerous changes compared with the current C-MAX. The front takes its cues from the Focus (the model it is based on), now offering a more modern and up-to-date look. The grille changes to adopt the shapes already seen on the new Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo. The headlights also get a new look and can optionally feature intelligent lighting technology.

The side shows no variation apart from the alloy wheel designs, which have been modernised. However, several changes have been made at the rear. The light clusters now have a more pleasant and harmonious design, and feature LED technology that improves illumination and response.
The interior benefits from a more modern, more ergonomic layout. One of the most criticised aspects of the previous Focus/C-MAX was the large number of buttons on the dashboard. This changes with the restyling, as most of the buttons have disappeared, either from the dashboard or the steering wheel. A large central touchscreen now controls most systems, both entertainment and vehicle functions.

As for the engines, the C-MAX will get the latest creations from the Blue Oval brand, in both diesel and petrol. In the diesel case, a new 1.5 TDCi engine producing 120 CV will be offered, along with an update of the well-known 2.0 TDCi, which will come in two power outputs: 140 and 163 CV. For those who prefer petrol, Ford will offer the 1.0 EcoBoost with 100 and 125 CV, as well as the new 1.5 EcoBoost , also in two power outputs: 150 and 180 CV.
