Ford will pause Bronco reservations to be able to meet demand
The high demand for the Ford Bronco has led the company to consider suspending reservations for the model in its various versions until the end of 2022.

That the large pick-up trucks, powerful and with a bold image, are the favorites of Americans is a fact. So it comes as no surprise that the Ford Bronco has become a complete success in this market. So much so that the company with the blue oval is finding it difficult to offer a specific delivery date for the reserved vehicles. So much so that they have just announced they will suspend reservations for a period of time.
The problems in fulfilling the current reservations have led to the announcement. According to it, reservations will close at three in the afternoon on March 8. From that day on, people who reserved before that time will have until March 15 to complete the purchase and will be included on the production list.

The reasons behind this decision have not been made public, but it is believed that the shortage of semiconductors and other components needed to manufacture the model may have a lot to do with it. Forecasts have soared and there are more orders than the company can handle. So the decision to stop accepting orders could help the company work on finishing the units already sold.
The only model that will escape this order freeze is the Raptor version, so all variants except this one are expected to be on hold throughout 2022, including the updates that were expected for mid-year. On the one hand, this is a success for the brand thanks to one of its most popular models, but it is also a serious problem, as it highlights the manufacturers’ difficulties in meeting current market demand.
For the time being, it is the only Ford model that will suffer these delays, and only in the United States. But it puts other manufacturers on alert, who could take the same decision if current global material restrictions continue.
