G-Power sets its sights on the BMW M3 GTS

There will always be people for whom a vehicle eventually feels “too small” and who want more, whether in performance, in styling or simply in power… To meet the demands of this very specific market, many tuners go a step further.
Even so, in the case of the BMW M3 it was BMW itself that offered, under the name BMW M3 GTS, a much more interesting car in which, among other things, the 4.0-litre V8 was replaced by a 4.4-litre V8, achieving a power increase of around 30 hp, 450 hp, which, together with a substantial reduction in weight and improvements to the suspension, brakes and, above all, the tyres, made this high-performance model… but what if we went a little further?

Honestly, “a little” attached to the name G-Power is a bit of a stretch, as these two words barely go together. Indeed, in its latest project the tuner has presented what it calls the SK II “Sporty Drive”, with which you can raise the performance of your M3 GTS to 635 hp and 630 Nm of peak torque, which means, as you can see, a gain of 185 hp and 190 Nm of peak torque, no small matter.
As expected, the figures presented by G-Power are truly breathtaking. For example, your M3 GTS with the G-Power kit is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, breaking the 200 km/h barrier in 11.9 seconds or reaching a superhuman top speed of around 323 km/h.

As is customary, G-Power has not offered any additional measures in the form of wheels, bodywork improvements, suspension or brakes, which are essential for controlling the vehicle safely and which, especially the last two, seem indispensable to me. Another point that stands out is that no reinforcement of the chassis has been announced, so it is reasonable to assume that the M3 is already “more than adequate” as standard in this respect.
If you are interested in this upgrade, I will only tell you that, according to G-Power, the kit is priced at no less than 23,500 euros, a price that does not include taxes or installation.
