F-150 Raptor Ford Curiosities Pick-up Tuning
Geiger unveils its F-150 Raptor with 600 horsepower
The German company Geiger Cars has presented its latest tuning project based on the Ford F-150 Raptor, a pickup that reaches 600 horsepower.

The German tuner specialising in American vehicles, Geiger Cars, has unveiled this Ford F-150 Raptor, which delivers no less than 600 horsepower, courtesy of its supercharged V8 engine. However, it must be mentioned that the 600 horsepower figure is measured at the flywheel, so after overcoming the weight of the pickup and turning the 35-inch wheels, we are left with roughly 450 horsepower at the wheels.
This does not seem to be a concern for those who decide to buy one of these beasts in Germany, because with the torque this truck has, you will be able to outaccelerate small or medium-sized cars and even run over them if they are a bit slow and it becomes necessary. That said, fuel consumption does not help much, as these turbocharged Raptors are said to drink 14 to 15 litres every 100 kilometres, which is certainly not economical.
Now, imagine cruising calmly on an autobahn and glancing in the rearview mirror to see this giant trying to overtake you. Even more striking is driving this kind of pickup at around 170 to 180 km/h without a single hair out of place; the height you sit at, the noise the tyres make and the sound of the engine are impressive.
In short, if we are talking about extreme Raptors, Geiger’s could well be among the most exclusive or rare vehicles you could drive on a Spanish road. Considering the price of petrol today and the fact that this Geiger preparation costs 75,000 euros in Germany, add that for a similar price you could get the Ford Raptor from Hennessey (the so-called Velociraptor), similar to this one, which even includes a remote control to open the exhaust outlet further so the V8 sounds even better.
