Giugiaro has a battery-electric saloon ready and we will see it very soon

Cars don’t live on petrol alone, and manufacturers are showing us that with their electric models. However, today we are going to focus on a recent company that wants to prove it can also work with every type of vehicle. Specifically, we are referring to GFG Style, a company founded by the famous designers of the Giugiaro surname. On this occasion, the brand wants to delight us with a concept car that has been glimpsed in a teaser, and it promises a lot.

In today’s car world, we find a large number of SUVs and compacts, something that is pushing one of the most important segments in history, saloons, into oblivion. However, the Italian designers refuse to lose this type of model, so their concept car will be based on a saloon, which will feature an electric heart in the purest futuristic style.

The people behind this new creation are the prestigious designers Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, who have formed an incredible team as father and son. Behind them are countless designs that have brought to life some of the most iconic vehicles in history, from the first Volkswagen Golf to several Ferrari models. On this occasion, the Italian company has wanted to bring to life a very attractive type of car.

For now we can glimpse a smooth silhouette, which is responsible for shaping the future electric saloon. We are looking at a concept similar to a four-door coupé, something that will allow GFG Style to compete directly with the future Porsche Mission E and possible electric versions of the Audi A7 and Mercedes CLS. Furthermore, we see certain elements, such as the front splitter and part of the rear end, that reveal a great aerodynamic effort by the brand.

Without a doubt this is a very special model, which will have a sporty concept that will overshadow many competing models. At the same time, the creation of this Concept Car is tied to Giorgetto Giugiaro’s 80th birthday, and what better way to celebrate it than by creating a new model. The company has also stated that we will see several autonomous driving systems in this new model, giving it a high level of technology.

For now we don’t know more official details about this prototype, but we will know more very soon, since it will be present at the Geneva Motor Show. GFG Style wants to join this automotive revolution, which it will achieve with this new model, which will not only be innovative but will also save a segment that, unfortunately, no longer enjoys the strong success it had in other eras.
