The new Hyundai Santa Fe in a couple of concept images
The new Hyundai Santa Fe is still some way off, but we can get a conceptual look at it in two images published by the Korean brand so we can start getting a sense of it

It has been a while since we had the last generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe, an SUV that had its moment in Spain and was quite popular. Today it is harder to stay at the top of the game, since there are many more models than when this SUV first appeared. Perhaps that is why the Korean brand has decided to refresh the model and give it a new look. And although nothing is definitive and this new version still seems to be a little way off, we have a couple of concept images that preview those changes to the model’s styling.
What is obvious is the change in the model’s appearance, which seeks to resemble the new Kona, representing the new generation of SUVs from the brand. This similarity is reflected in the design of the front grille and headlights, which are slimmer and closer to the new design languages that dominate the brand’s current models. The changes are also evident at the rear. The rear lights are also newly designed, and there is a profusion of new chrome decorative touches.

There is also a silver diffuser and a spoiler above the tailgate that gives it better aerodynamics. The SUV’s rear windows also add that design touch that complements the overall look of the car. The changes we can see are limited to the exterior, but there will also be changes inside. In fact, the interior space is expected to grow considerably, offering more legroom and headroom and greater comfort for the occupants.
A five-seat version is expected to be sold, but also a seven-seat one, which already hints at the size we can expect from this new generation of the Santa Fe. As for engines, it will be sold in both petrol and diesel variants, although it is also very likely to reach the market with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Many details are still to come, but for now we can share a little about its design with these two concept images before it arrives at the Geneva Motor Show.
