Goodbye to the Ferrari FS90 Stradale and the 812 GTS: the Italian brand is dropping these two models

Ferrari has announced the discontinuation of two fairly recent models from the brand, which will be replaced by new models that are better and better equipped.

Ferrari Sf90 Stradale 5

Ferrari is one of the most sought-after and recognised luxury manufacturers in the world. Each of the models it offers is a real marvel, and many fans of the brand want to get their hands on one of them. This time, however, the news is not entirely good for those who want a car from the brand of the Cavallino Rampante. The fact is that the discontinuation of two fairly recent models launched by Ferrari has just been announced.

These two models, which will soon stop being produced, are the SF90 Stradale and the 812 GTS. The first news about the discontinuation of these two cars came with the presentation of the sales report for the first half of 2024, and not only that: models were announced that will replace these and other models that will also be discontinued in the future.

As for the Ferrari FS90 Stradale, we have already seen what its successor will look like, since some test units have been spotted in several European locations. But this does not mean that all variants of the FS90 Stradale will disappear. The FS90 XX variant will remain available for several more years, so the essence of the model will still be available to anyone who wants to enjoy it.

As far as is known, the model replacing the FS90 Stradale will use the same engine as the model being eliminated, but improved. As for the other model, the 812 GTS, its replacement is already known. It is the 12Cilindri Spider, so we are confident it will be as successful as the outgoing model.

There are two other models that will be listed as discontinued: the Roma and the 812 Competizione. Both are nearing the end of their commercial life, so their sales dropped considerably during the first half of 2024. We do not know the replacement for the Roma, but we do know that the Roma Spider will remain on the market for a while longer. The 812 Competizione does already have an interesting successor, the 12Cilindri.

Sales recorded by Ferrari during the first half of 2024 reached 7,044 cars worldwide. This represents a 1% increase compared with the first half of 2023. For the moment, Ferrari has orders for several of its models that will keep it busy until 2026.
