There are car models that have been with us for many years. They are the ones that have earned buyers’ trust and have adapted over the decades to remain among the most sought-after, and therefore the most profitable for brands. So it’s no surprise that several versions of the same model coexist on our roads.

Sometimes we are surprised to see that evolution over recent years has not been especially large and that they retain elements present in earlier generations. Other times we see how they have changed so much that the latest version has little or nothing to do with the previous ones. So the GIFs you will find in this article are sure to surprise you, at the very least.

These images show the evolution of four models among those considered “legendary”, which have been a benchmark in many international markets and have gone through design changes as new generations arrived.

These four cars are the Honda Accord, the Ford Mustang, the BM3 Serie 3 and the Chevrolet Corvette, which were chosen to show all the changes that have occurred with each new generation of the model.

The trends of each era are reflected in the exterior designs, but also in the interiors. Unfortunately, we don’t have images of what each of these versions was equipped with, which would also be quite interesting and would give us an idea of the changes in the equipment of the cars.

Even so, it turns out to be quite a curious document that illustrates each decade’s trends and what is expected of a car. And also, what buyers expect from a car that is going to be part of their lives. What do you think of the changes?
