Honda e:N, a electric future in the form of a coupé and SUV
The Japanese brand has teamed up with the Chinese company GAC to create a new line of electric vehicles to enter the Chinese market and soon the global one.

Major brands are joining forces to enter the Chinese market and offer products and vehicles designed for buyers in the country. Honda has joined the company GAC and they have announced the production of five electric vehicles under the name e:N. The first two of them have already been presented at the Guangzhou Auto Show, and they are a coupé and an SUV version.
Although both vehicles have been presented, there is not much information about them. Only the exterior image has been revealed, showing a line that signals their place in the world of electrification. These first two vehicles of the e:N range, and soon the next design of the range will be seen, in the form of the e:N GT.

Features of the two e:N models
Among the scarce information revealed by the joint company between Honda and GAC, we have the expected range of the e:NS1 and the e:NP1, the SUV and the coupé. According to what the company has communicated, both are equipped with a battery pack and a motor that will offer a range of 500 kilometres, according to the cycle used in China.

As for the electric motors, the brand claims an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just under eight seconds. It has been built on a platform created specifically for this range of models. The batteries are supplied by CATL. As for technological equipment, they feature Honda SENSING, Honda CONNECT and the Digital Cockpit.
With this new name a new future opens up for Honda. The brand has assured that it will no longer introduce any new model based on combustion engines, and that its upcoming models will be electric. The N designation refers to this new way of understanding the market.
For now, the e:N models will have a very prominent presence in Honda dealerships in China, and little by little they will expand the presence of production plants in China to produce more vehicles and direct them to the global market.
