Not long ago we told you that the prices of the Hyundai i30 N were already known, and now it is the turn of its most radical version. The i30 N TCR is presented as the racing compact par excellence, and today the South Korean brand has revealed its prices.

After a successful debut by Hyundai in both the TCR International Series and the TCR Europe Trophy, the brand is making the i30 N TCR available to racing teams. Hyundai aims to offer a vehicle with first-class technical specifications, with the intention of taking its users straight to victory.

To deliver this, the South Korean brand hands over the vehicle fully prepared to hit the track and compete. At the same time, Hyundai has considered the different types of competition its i30 N TCR may face and therefore offers as an option an “Endurance Kit” developed by Hyundai Motorsport.

This kit is designed for teams looking to take part in long-distance championships. Hyundai includes ABS, night lights and an external fitting for refuelling. In this way, endurance races will be far more manageable thanks to these elements.

But to compete, proper set-up and competition-ready performance are also necessary . That is why inside the i30 N TCR we find a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo engine, paired with a six-speed sequential gearbox and a multi-plate clutch. The six-piston Brembo brakes at the front and two-piston at the rear aim to deliver the best possible braking.

The whole i30 N TCR weighs just 1,285 kilograms, making it one of the lightest vehicles and offering a power-to-weight ratio well suited to becoming king of the circuits. But these features come at a price.

The Hyundai i30 N TCR has a starting price of 128,000 euros, but the South Korean brand is offering a generous discount of 4,000 euros for its first customers. To secure a unit of the TCR, a deposit of 15,000 euros will be required as a guarantee.

In this way, sales of Hyundai’s competition compact open up and give every team the chance to win with its new product. The brand will offer technical support to customers in Germany, specifically in Alzenau, where Hyundai’s headquarters are located.
