IONITY introduces two new annual subscriptions to make charging more affordable

IONITY, one of the most important fast-charging networks for electric vehicles in Europe, has launched two new annual subscription rates with the aim of offering its customers significant savings compared with the monthly subscriptions already available. These new rates keep the same prices per kWh consumed, but reduce the fixed annual fee payable for a full year of subscription.

The new Power 365 rate costs 99.99 euros a year until 7 November 2025, a saving of 43.89 euros compared with the 143.88 euros that the twelve monthly payments of 11.99 euros offering the same benefits would cost. The Motion 365 rate, meanwhile, costs 49.99 euros a year during the same promotional period, which saves 21.89 euros compared with the twelve monthly payments of 5.99 euros that likewise provide the same price per kWh consumed.

Let us recall that with the Power subscription, whether monthly or annual, the price per kWh consumed at all IONITY fast-charging stations is 0.39 euros. With the Motion rate, this price rises to 0.49 euros.

Take advantage of the launch promotion

All customers who may be interested in either of these two new annual subscription rates have until 7 November to enjoy the promotional launch price. From that date on, the price will rise to 119.99 euros for the Power 365 annual subscription and 59.99 euros for Motion 365, reducing the saving to 20 and 10 euros respectively compared with the cost of twelve monthly payments with the same benefits.

Alongside the announcement of these new annual subscription rates, IONITY has also wanted to highlight an additional advantage they offer. Paying the annual subscription fee guarantees the ability to enjoy the aforementioned prices per kWh consumed for a full year, whereas customers who opt for the monthly subscription may see these prices increase from one month to the next.

These annual subscriptions also include no automatic renewals or hidden charges, which ensures full cost transparency for customers. IONITY assures that these new rates allow drivers to focus on their journeys without worrying about changes in charging costs.

Finally, it should be noted that the non-subscription options, IONITY Direct and IONITY Go, remain unchanged. The first, for those who charge without registering or using an app, costs 0.75 euros per kWh consumed, while the second, which requires registering details in the IONITY app, is slightly cheaper at 0.70 euros per kWh consumed.
