If you like the sports cars that marked a before and after in the automotive industry, we’re sure this news will brighten your day. Lamborghini has confirmed that it is working on one of its most legendary models of all time: the Lamborghini Countach. As you surely know, the Lamborghini Countach is one of the most iconic models in history, and in just a few days we will see its modern version.

For now, the bull-emblem brand has not wanted to reveal many details, but it has assured us that “we make dreams come true. We did it with the classic Lamborghini Countach in the 1970s, and we are doing it again”. As you can see, it’s quite a statement of intent. This phrase was accompanied by the publication of two Instagram stories paying tribute to the legendary Countach. You can watch the teaser video by clicking here.

This is what we know about the new Lamborghini Countach

Unfortunately, neither the image nor the videos have given much information about the new sports car. They only suggest that the model has a wedge-shaped design like its predecessor. However, it is quite clear that the Lamborghini modern Countach will have much better aerodynamics thanks to its fluid roofline.

In addition, the brand keeps building anticipation and has published some of the most relevant details in its exclusive app, called Unica. The model, specifically, will be named Lamborghini Countach LP 800-4. This may mean it will be all-wheel drive and could offer 800 CV of power.

Other sources suggest that the new Lamborghini Countach will be based on the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 and will feature a 6.5-litre V12 engine and a mild-hybrid system. Notably, only 112 units will be built, and its price may start at almost three million euros. All these questions will be resolved very soon, as the unveiling of the modern Lamborghini Countach is scheduled for the next Monterrey Automobile Week.
