It's official! The long-awaited and redesigned Volkswagen T-Roc already has its price and availability in Spain

The New Volkswagen T Roc

Volkswagen rounded off the summer in style with the presentation of the restyle of the T-Roc, its star model since it was launched in 2017, establishing itself as one of its most popular SUVs thanks to the more than two million units sold in Europe alone and ranking as the second most important A0 SUV in Spain, with 26% of total sales. Now, following its presentation and the start of sales in other European countries, the new T-Roc is finally arriving in Spain.

Let’s recall that the new Volkswagen T-Roc was presented with a redesigned front end in which the entire front is modified with a new grille in the style of the brand’s latest presentations, which has also required the bumper and consequently the light cluster to be redesigned; while on the side the C-pillar changes its lines and also serves to connect with the new tailgate, where the window is now larger.

The changes to the interior are not profound, as we discussed at the time, focusing on a redesign of the centre console in place of physical buttons to make way for a new infotainment screen that now offers more functions. Furthermore, Volkswagen has taken advantage of this restyle to equip the interior of the T-Roc with new surfaces and materials that give it an even more elegant and refined atmosphere.

Obviously, all of this will depend both on the chosen trim level and on the extras we decide to fit, with three trim levels available in Spain. It should be noted that, with limited production, two launch editions will also be added: the first, called the T-Roc Launch Edition, limited to 400 units, with exclusive details and more complete equipment; while the second edition is the T-Roc R-Line 1st Edition, limited to 600 units, with superior technological equipment in addition to the Black Style exterior pack and 20-inch wheels.

From its launch, the Volkswagen T-Roc will be available with the 1.5 eTSI petrol engine with 48 V mild-hybrid technology in power outputs of 116 CV and 150 CV, sending power to the front axle, in both cases using the 7-speed DSG gearbox. In the coming months a conventional hybrid version (HEV) will join, along with another 2.0 eTSI petrol engine with four-wheel drive 4Motion and, finally, the most powerful engine corresponding to the T-Roc R.
