Jeremy Clarkson looking for a plug for the Nissan Leaf

The guys at Top Gear have released another teaser video about the episode that will take apart the Nissan Leaf and the Peugeot iOn. All of this may very well be prepared in advance through a prior script, so we shouldn’t be surprised by so much “coincidence”; their little inclination towards electric cars is well known.
At the same time, it highlights an image that will surely be repeated many times around the world, wherever electric cars arrive: a car stopped in the middle of a street (or in the middle of nowhere, to make things worse), with the driver desperately looking for a charitable soul to lend them a plug to recharge electricity.
In the meantime, I can’t wait for this episode to air. Why? Because neither the heads of the PSA group nor Carlos Ghosn are going to like seeing these pitiful images of their electric cars, broadcast in millions of homes around the world and reaching millions of viewers who have been “convinced and educated” about the virtues of the battery car.
