Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition

Lamborghini has announced a special Pirelli edition of its Aventador LP 700-4 to celebrate the lasting partnership between the two brands, which began in 1963, when the car company was established. This special edition will be available in early summer 2015 and can be chosen in different body variants: Coupe and Roadster.

The most significant changes in this Pirelli Edition are focused on the bodywork; however, the technical specifications remain unchanged, so it keeps the 6.5 V12 engine with 700 CV, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h. Likewise, its seven-speed gearbox and permanent all-wheel drive are still present.

These exterior changes come with two two-tone configuration options to choose from: one combination features six glossy paints with details on the roof, pillars, wing mirrors, bonnet and air intakes, plus glossy finishes on the rest of the car. The second option also has gloss black details on the upper sections, but the rest can be configured with four matt finishes.

The Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition also comes with a thin red stripe around the roof, engine cover, mirrors and air intake outlets. The tyre logo is also painted in red. The red design is intended to evoke Pirelli.

All of this is completed by the carbon fibre engine compartment, the bonnet and the Dione alloy wheels, painted in gloss black, measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.

Inside, this special edition features black Alcantara stitching with red contrast, as well as another red stripe running along the roof lining. Finally, its door panels and side seat trims are upholstered in leather, and each car will have a Pirelli plaque to certify this special edition.
