Lamborghini looks back on its year in a video with its best moments

We’re already counting down for this 2015 to end, which, with all its ups and downs, hasn’t been entirely bad. So there are brands that want us to remember each and every one of the great moments they have starred in over the course of the year. This is the case of Lamborghini, which presents us with a short video in which it reviews most of the major events it has attended and also shows us the cars it has unveiled over the last twelve months.

It has been a long year, and during it we have had the chance to see and admire some of the most striking models to emerge from the Italian marque. The story begins in March, when Lamborghini presented the Aventador LP750-4 Super Veloce, the top of the range, at the Geneva Motor Show. Its tuned V12 engine allowed it to reach 740 CV and a maximum torque of 690 Nm. With these figures, it managed to complete a lap of the Nürburgring in under seven minutes, becoming the second production car that brand has built, after the Porsche 918 Spider.

During 2015 Lamborghini presented several versions of its most popular vehicles

In August the roadster version was launched, thus completing a range that would bring great experiences to fans of Lamborghini. In September came the Frankfurt Motor Show, where the convertible version in the form of the LP-610-4 Spyder could be seen. Unlike its two major rivals, the Ferrari 488 Spider and the McLaren 650S Spider, which also have less powerful engines, this model has all-wheel drive.

At the 2015 Los Angeles Motor Show, the Huracan LP 580-2 was presented, which dropped all-wheel drive, considerably reduced the power to 572 CV and offered the purists greater steering control, something they did not find in the previous model.

Before the year ends, the news keeps coming. There is talk of a future Ursus, an SUV from the brand that will not arrive until 2017, but that is not all. There is talk of a special edition of the Aventador and further variants of the Huracán, all of which will arrive over the coming months, either as confirmations or directly as production models. We will have to wait a little, but we know 2016 will also be a great year for Lamborghini.
