Lamborghini Urus Performante, faster, lighter and more aggressive
The Lamborghini Urus Performante will have a starting price of around 218,487 euros. Would you like to know more?

The Lamborghini Urus was one of the first high-performance SUVs to revolutionise the segment, but now the brand is pushing the bar even further with the new Lamborghini Urus Performante. This new model aims to take “the ultimate performance and distinctive look of the SUV to the next level”.
The Lamborghini Urus Performante stands out for its aggressive front bumper and a vented carbon-fibre bonnet. The latter is available fully painted or with visible carbon fibre to give it a sporty touch. Speaking of lightweight materials, you can choose it with a carbon-fibre roof that recalls the Huracán Performante and the Super Trofeo.
Depending on the market, the SUV will feature a carbon-fibre front splitter and black air intakes, which provide an aggressive look and better engine cooling. The designers also gave the model new air inlets, carbon-fibre wheel arches and a larger rear spoiler that helps increase rear aerodynamic downforce by 38%.

Moving to the rear, the crossover has been equipped with a carbon-fibre diffuser and a carbon rear bumper. They are joined by a titanium sports exhaust system Akrapovič, which produces a “characteristic resonance of Lamborghini”.
For a sportier stance, the Urus Performante sits on new steel springs that lower the model by 20 mm. The wheelbase also increases by 16 mm, while the crossover rides on lightweight 22- or 23-inch wheels featuring titanium wheel bolts and specially developed Pirelli P Zero tyres.
The sporty style continues inside the cabin, as the model comes standard with black Alcantara seats featuring hexagonal details. Buyers will also find black anodised aluminium trim and a flat-bottomed Alcantara/leather sports steering wheel.

Lamborghini will offer a range of options, including a dark pack that sees various controls and switches receive a matt black finish. Customers can also opt for leather and Ad Personam options, such as matt carbon-fibre trim and red door handles.
Since this Urus carries the Performante nickname, it’s no surprise that the crossover has lost weight and gained power. Starting with the latter, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has been tuned to produce 666 CV and 850 Nm of torque. That is an increase of 16 CV and allows the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 306 km/h).
The improved performance is due, in part, to the Performante’s “greater amount of carbon-fibre parts in its segment”. They help reduce the crossover’s weight by 47 kg, giving the model the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. The improved performance and reduced weight are only part of the story, as the Urus Performante has been equipped with a recalibrated steering system, which promises more “precise inputs and direct feedback”. The model also gets a new differential to optimise torque distribution, as well as revised driving modes.

Thanks to all these updates, the Urus Performante has already proven its worth, as the model set a new record at Pikes Peak with a time of 10:32.064. This beat the previous SUV record of 10:49.902. Deliveries are scheduled to begin later this year, and pricing starts at 218,487 euros.
