Lamborghini's Estoque back on the agenda
Lamborghini has not entirely abandoned its plans for the Estoque, although a second saloon-coupé based on the Estoque’s platform is possible, but not for a few years.

It won’t be now, nor in one year, nor in two. Lamborghini first wants to enjoy the momentum of the recently presented Urus, before deciding what to do with the Estoque, that four-door coupé project which seemed a little crazy at the start, but which is now perfectly credible, given the new direction the market for this type of sports car has taken.
It is said that these days the bull brand is evaluating some other possibilities for the Estoque, at the express request of its CEO, Stefan Winkelmann in person, to assess other options the Estoque might have that could lead to the arrival of a completely new second saloon-coupé, using the same Estoque platform.
In this way, one of the problems of the original Estoque would be solved: the lack of a platform that would have served for the production Estoque. Now that the Estoque is the platform, the project to move forward with a four-door coupé remains alive, although we will have to wait a few more years.
The wait will be just the time it takes for the Urus to be past the peak of the wave, clearly on the way down. Lamborghini first wants to make the most of the SUVs and the Urus, before embarking on large-scale plans with the Estoque’s successor. We have a long time until 2025, the year the business plan and model policy currently guiding the brand’s direction comes to an end.
