¡Lancia is back! The brand will launch three new models by 2026
A city car, an SUV and a compact that could pay tribute to the legendary Lancia Delta. Are you also eager to meet them?

¡Lancia is back under Stellantis! The company has committed to a major investment in the brands that have run into financial trouble, and Lancia will be the first to receive it. The first push will go to renewing the Lancia Ypsilon. The new generation of the city car is set to revolutionise the segment.
The experts at Automotive News Europe have reported that the future Lancia plans to launch three completely new models. The first will be a compact city car intended to replace the legendary Lancia Ypsilon. It could reach the market by mid-2024 and would become the first fully electric car from the Italian brand, although it may also be offered with a combustion engine.

Lancia will launch three new models by 2026
The first arrivals are expected in the first quarter of 2026. This new model will be joined by a compact SUV offered exclusively with a 100% electric powertrain. Just like the city car, everything points to the SUV sharing components with other models in the Stellantis group to cut production costs. So much so that other Stellantis brands may use the technology and the modular platform of the compact SUV.
Some sources have claimed that a hatchback could also reach the market. At present, Lancia is assessing how well its new models would be received and thereby justifying the investment in the C-segment. If the project finally gets the green light, it could be unveiled at the end of 2027.

It is important to stress that this offensive would not be carried out only in Italy. We hope the investments pay off and Lancia shines again in Europe. Luca Napolitano is the new CEO of Lancia and could make the Italian brand shine once more. His plans include a city car arriving in 2024 to replace the Lancia Ypsilon, one that was already presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. The next date on the calendar is 2026, the year we could see a new, revolutionary 100% electric compact SUV built on the new Stellantis group platform called STLA Large. The third date will be 2027, the year rumours suggest we could meet the new Lancia Delta.
