Looking for an affordable electric car without giving up on technology? The new Leapmotor T03 and C10, available from €18,900, are arriving in Europe to transform electric mobility.

Leapmotor International, the joint venture between Chinese automotive giant Leapmotor and the Stellantis group, is harnessing China’s engineering prowess and innovation to bring electric mobility to a global audience. With a focus on affordability and advanced technology, the brand is beginning its expansion outside China, launching two electric vehicles in Europe, backed by the dealer network of Stellantis.

European consumers can now place orders for the Leapmotor T03 and Leapmotor C10 through Stellantis dealerships, a brand known for its global presence with names such as Peugeot, Fiat and Opel. This milestone marks a major step forward for Leapmotor, which aims to compete head-to-head with other Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers in the international market.

  • Leapmotor T03: A compact segment A car with a range of 265 km on the WLTP cycle. Despite its small size, this model offers interior space similar to that of a segment B car. It will go on sale with a starting price of 18,900 euros, making it an affordable option for those looking to enter electric mobility without sacrificing space.
  • Leapmotor C10: A segment D SUV with a range of 420 km (WLTP) that stands out for its safety, premium comfort and an intelligent user experience. Equipped with the LEAP 3.0 architecture and the advanced “Cell-to-Chassis” technology, this SUV will be offered for 34,900 euros, with first deliveries scheduled for October this year.

Both models rely on cutting-edge technologies and deliver exceptional performance, balancing efficiency, safety and price. Thanks to the vertical integration of Leapmotor, which allows greater control over production, the company has managed to reduce costs and offer high-end electric vehicles at competitive prices.

Global expansion of Leapmotor

The European launch is only the beginning. The first markets include countries such as Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom, with plans to expand into the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and South America by the end of 2024. This strategy is part of the ambitious plan of Leapmotor International to launch a new electric model each year over the next three years.

Stellantis, for its part, continues to strengthen its commitment to electric mobility, ensuring that the arrival of Leapmotor complements its electric vehicle offering and expands its capacity to deliver clean, safe and affordable mobility. With Stellantis’s investment of 1.5 billion euros to acquire a 21% stake in Leapmotor, this partnership seeks to establish itself as a key player in the global new energy vehicle (NEV) market.
