Lexus UX 250h: new design and equipment updates for the SUV's refresh
The Japanese brand has just refreshed its compact SUV with several styling tweaks both outside and inside

The Lexus UX was launched in 2019 to complete the brand’s crossover range and enter the urban SUV segment. Two years after its arrival on the market and more than 50,000 units later, it has managed to take the title of the Lexus best-selling in Europe, proving a total success thanks to the appealing ingredients that make it a very attractive option within its segment.
A few months ago, Lexus updated the model with certain improvements in personalisation and equipment, and now several cosmetic новости are being added so that the model continues to look as young as it did on day one.

On the outside…
Firstly, the biggest and most notable novelty is that the brand has expanded its colour palette with the new Gris Sonic colour, a shade that really suits the hybrid SUV, enhancing its character and elegance through the shadows that form along the bodywork of this UX 250h.
In addition, the F Sport and Luxury trims will now feature wheel arches painted in the same colour as the bodywork, replacing the black ones we knew until now. With this change it may lose some of its SUV DNA, but in our humble opinion it notably improves its look.

New upholstery
Inside, Lexus has introduced new leather-upholstered seats that can be chosen in ash white or Tahara black, which, combined with the bronze-coloured stitching, create an elegant and high-quality cabin.
With these novelties, the new UX 250h has as rivals major players such as the Audi Q2, the Mercedes GLA, the BMW X2 and the successful Volvo XC40. Tough rivals, although let us not forget that the Lexus UX offers a wide range of safety systems, driving assistants and a fairly extensive technology package that allows it to hold its own against the big players.

Hybrid and 100% electric
Furthermore, one of the great advantages of this SUV is that a fully electric powertrain is available, called the Lexus UX 300e. Although it has sold few units since it went on sale, it is an interesting option if you want a 100% electric car with the high quality we have come to expect from the brand.
The latest UX 250h renewal starts at 34,300 euro and the fully electric version starts at 49,900 euro.
