Lynk & Co Z10 Sedans Electric Cars
Link & Co launches pre-sales of its Z10 saloon in the Chinese market
Although for the time being the Chinese manufacturer has not commented on the matter, it does not seem far-fetched to think that this electric saloon could eventually reach Europe as well.
The Chinese brand Lynk & Co, owned by Geely, has announced the start of pre-sales of its Z10 electric saloon in China. This model will be available in that market from 5 September, with a starting price that, at current exchange rates, is around 27,500 euros.
Lynk & Co unveiled its new electric saloon last June, revealing all of its technical specifications at the time. The Z10 is the production version of the prototype from the Chinese manufacturer “Lynk & Co The Next Day”, which was previously presented. This model is based on Geely’s SEA platform (Sustainable Experience Architecture) and has quite generous dimensions, with a length of 5,028 mm, a width of 1,966 mm and a height of 1,468 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,005 mm.

The Chinese manufacturer will offer its Z10 electric saloon in five versions to choose from. Three of them will feature a 400-volt architecture, while the remaining two will be based on a more advanced 800-volt architecture. Buyers will also be able to opt for rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive versions, with outputs ranging from 310 kW to 580 kW. As for the battery packs, they will use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, with capacities between 75 and 95 kWh. Depending on the version and battery pack, the manufacturer promises a range for its new electric saloon of between 602 and 806 km, under the rather generous Chinese CLTC homologation cycle.
It leaves no one indifferent
The Lynk & Co Z10 stands out for its sporty design, which includes split headlights, a sloping roofline reminiscent of a coupé, 21-inch wheels, a full-width rear light bar and an extendable spoiler. One of the most striking exterior elements is the RGB lighting at the front and rear, a design detail intended to give it a modern touch that will appeal to younger customers.
Looking at the level of equipment, it is worth noting that the Z10 comes as standard with a LiDAR sensor that enables autonomous driving functions, a full-length glass roof, a compact digital instrument cluster integrated into the dashboard, an infotainment system with a 15.4-inch touchscreen and a steering wheel with a flattened lower rim.

For the time being, the company has not commented on a possible global launch of this model. However, we should not forget that its presentation was indeed global and took place a couple of months ago in the Swedish city of Gothenburg. A detail that seems to suggest Lynk & Co’s intention to also begin selling it in Europe in the more or less near future. The company has been present in Europe since late 2020, although so far it has only offered combustion-engine vehicles.
