Little Electric Car: the 100% Spanish electric car

Little is a Spanish company that has started producing and selling urban, cargo and passenger electric vehicles, with an electric sports car project on the horizon.

Little Electric Car is a Spanish electric vehicle, the first of its kind, designed for city journeys that do not require more than 70 km of range (according to experts) and which comes in two variants (the commercial Ebox and the Little4) with a price of around 20,000 euros.

This vehicle does not have great aesthetic ambitions, but it fulfils its purpose very well. It can comfortably carry up to 4 adults, at a top speed of no more than 45 km/h. Given how the situation is developing with fuel prices, and considering that one of these cars can be recharged in about 6 hours (to 80% of its capacity) for less than 1 euro, it seems well suited to urban journeys; exempt from registration tax in most municipalities, they also pay no blue zone parking fees, and charging the battery costs around 50 cents.

Ironically, the project has attracted more interest outside Spain than within Spain, although there is some interest from major Spanish companies, such as Seur, Correos and Banco Santander, in adding them to their fleets. There is also a project involving certain supermarket chains interested in Galicia, the region where this small electric car originated.

Although the company says that all safety elements received approval and homologation in Luxembourg, at first glance, and without having seen it up close, the Little gives an impression of fragility. That is to say, no one denies that an unforeseen event could occur while driving at 40 km/h in the city. Otherwise it does not seem a vehicle suited to winter conditions, although I may well be mistaken. It bears a slight resemblance to the Mehari from Citroën, although that one looks better.

Little GT

On another note, we also learn that Little Electric will be unveiling the Little GT, this time a two-seat convertible sports car, at the Paris show. We expect to receive more information about the GT very soon.
