Luvly 0, the electric car that is shipped in pieces and has to be assembled at its destination

This small electric city car is currently in the design phase, and you will be able to receive it in parts at home, which will make it very affordable and competitive compared with others.

Indeed, it is a completely innovative idea that breaks with the usual distribution model. The Luvly 0 is a very small electric city car, similar to the Citroën AMI, which will soon begin to be sold across Europe. So far, nothing unusual. The possibility of having a small electric city car that can be driven even without a driving licence is something many people take into account.

The Luvly 0 is precisely that: a small, very basic electric car, but with one particularity: it is sold disassembled. The car is shipped in pieces, suitably packed, to keep the cost low. In this way, a price far below that of similar vehicles is achieved.

Assembly at destination, but not at home

We can already see that this vehicle will arrive disassembled, but the buyer will not have to assemble it at home. The company that has launched this vehicle is closing agreements so that this process is carried out in specialised centres located in every major city in Europe. Even so, the price will be much lower than that of other similar models.

The Luvly 0

The electric city model is somewhat larger than the one we all have in mind, the Citroën AMI. Specifically, it measures 2.71 metres in length, 1.53 metres in width and 1.44 metres in height. It has a very minimalist look, with no relevant details. It even does without a rear window, so the rear shows only the rear light clusters.

The wheels have a specific design that continues the car’s minimalist design, and the front wheels are placed right next to the front bumper, in a very forward position. The rear wheels are also set very far back, which allows it to offer the maximum interior space. They use drum brakes, which are sufficient for this type of vehicle.

The Luvly 0’s bodywork absorbs all the energy in the event of a collision, so the two occupants have sufficient safety to drive around the city. There are no images of the interior, although the company has confirmed that the boot capacity is 276 litres, a rather interesting figure.

As for the motor and battery, this city model has a motor capable of reaching a top speed of 90 km/h. The two removable batteries fitted to the vehicle allow it to travel a total of 100 kilometres on a single charge.

It is still a project

If everything you have read has interested you, you should know that the starting price is expected to be 10,000 euros. But the bad news is that it is still a project that has not yet gone on sale. There is still a lot to learn about this model, but it may reach the market soon and surprise with its functionality. For now, you can visit the company’s website and request more information.
