The BMW iX1 xDrive30 begins sales in Spain and reveals its price
BMW is putting the fully electric iX1 on sale in Spain in its xDrive30 version, for now the only one expected

We are just a few months away from the first anniversary of the presentation of the new generation of the BMW X1, a model that underwent a thorough update, especially in its technology and, of course, also in its design, which now looks much more like its bigger siblings. BMW wasted no time in starting sales of its small SUV, just a few months later, a range that to this day is still being completed.
When the X1 was presented, it was also announced that it would arrive accompanied by a fully electric version called iX1, although its sales were postponed until later. That sales launch is now a reality, because the brand has already announced that the new BMW iX1 can now be ordered in Spain in its xDrive30 version, and at the same time they have revealed its price in our country.

First of all, let us recall that if you are interested in the BMW iX1, you will have an electric vehicle very similar to its combustion version, and in fact it will only differ in small details. Without a doubt the biggest is the absence of an exhaust line, but otherwise we will have a vehicle that, together with the chosen body colour, will combine blue details denoting its electric character, applied to elements such as the front grille, the front and rear bumpers and the side mouldings, as well as the charging flap located above the rear left wing.
Inside, the changes focus mainly on offering information specific to the electric system in both the instrument cluster and the infotainment system. It should be said that the iX1 will be sold in a base entry-level trim and the xLine trim, the latter adding black and chrome exterior mouldings as well as high-gloss black interior trim. Either way, let us see what the BMW iX1 includes as standard equipment:
- LED front and rear lights
- 18-inch alloy wheels
- Electrically operated tailgate
- BMW Live Cockpit Plus with BMW Curved Display
- BMW ID8 Operating System with navigation
- Dual-zone climate control with rear air vents
- Leather sports steering wheel
- 40:20:40 variable split rear seat with backrest recline adjustment
- Lighting package
- Adaptive M suspension with M Sport steering
- BMW My Modes
- BMW Flexible Fast Charger with domestic connector for mobile charging at home.
- Cable (mode 3) for public charging
- BMW Charging card to access the public charging network with attractive and transparent conditions.
- 11 kW AC charging, up to 127 kW DC charging
- Parking Assistant with Active Park Distance Control and reversing camera
- Cruise control with braking function

Mechanically, the BMW iX1 xDrive30 uses a motor on the front axle and another on the rear axle, resulting in a combined output of 313 CV and a torque of 494 Nm sent to all four wheels thanks to all-electric four-wheel drive, figures that also allow it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. Under the floor of the iX1 sits the 64.7 kWh battery, which gives it a range of between 414 and 440 kilometres according to the WLTP test cycle.
As we were saying, the new BMW iX1 xDrive30 is already available in Spain with a price starting from 56,400 euros.
