Maserati updates its range of four-door vehicles with the MY18 GranLusso and GranSport trims
Maserati has just unveiled the GranLusso and GranSport trims for its four-door models. These are characterised by offering more exclusive features.

Supercars are doomed, like all other vehicle segments, to constantly renew themselves in order to compete with their rivals, whether mechanically or aesthetically. Maserati has progressively evolved over recent years thanks to the introduction of a more refined and up-to-date model line-up; however, the Trident brand is aware that it cannot slow down the pace of its creations, which is why it has decided to incorporate the GranLusso and GranSport trims into its most versatile vehicles.
The Ghibli, Quattroporte and Levante stand as clear examples that sportiness and practicality can go hand in hand, something Maserati wanted to emphasise with these two new options. The Beijing Motor Show was the ideal event to present these latest novelties, in which the Italian brand has put all its effort into offering more personality and exclusivity in its products.
Maserati has focused all its efforts on improving both the exterior and interior finishes, something it has been able to achieve not only with the introduction of the new packages, but also through its personalisation department, where each customer can configure their new sports car to their taste and desire. The new features can be applied to the three four-door models that make up the Maserati range, covering everything from the material of the front grille to the colour of the seats.

The aesthetic section offers the option of adorning your new Maserati with numerous wheels, which come in different designs and sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches. Six-piston brake calipers signed by Brembo can also be chosen in different colours, with black, red, blue and yellow as options. At the same time, the front end is dressed in carbon fibre, a material that can be seen applied to both the front grille and the splitter and other components that form part of the exterior.
If we venture to explore the cabin of the Maserati in GranLusso and GranSport trim, we will find detailed elements that make boarding the Italian sports cars a unique experience. The Trident brand allows its most discerning customers to choose between an interior wrapped in fine Radica wood with a leather steering wheel or, alternatively, a much more sporty and radical interior where Alcantara and carbon fibre take centre stage.
At the same time, exclusivity is heightened by the option of lining the interior of your Maserati with Ermenegildo Zegna silk, which combines fine-grain leather with 100% natural Zegna mulberry silk fibre. The Italian brand is the only company in the world to use this material, which allows its customers to have a much more special vehicle. Furthermore, Maserati also offers the option of covering your car with a paint containing mica flakes, which reveal different tones and shades under different lighting conditions.

Without a doubt, Maserati has known how to create a greater level of exclusivity in its vehicles without the need to resort to creating a completely new model. At present we do not know the prices of these options and trims, but their fortunate owners will be able to enjoy an authentic Italian sports car where exclusivity oozes from every side.
