McLaren 'Racing Through the Ages', six very special units for customers in Beverly Hills
This special edition, made up of six cars divided into three exclusive versions, will go on sale at the Beverly Hills dealership of McLaren

Someone is going to feel like a true Fresh Prince of Beverly Hills when they get behind the wheel of one of these exclusive cars, which were born from an order placed by a dealership in the popular Los Angeles neighbourhood. To create the McLaren ‘Racing Through the Ages collection, the MSO division was asked to create three different customisations, each one consisting of a McLaren 570S Coupe and a McLaren 570S Spider, suitably transformed.
The six cars feature a rear spoiler that was approved by the customer, the McLaren dealership in Beverly Hills. In addition, they have been fitted with a GT4 racing stripe on the bonnet and roof. The exclusive look is reinforced by the MSO Defined Black Pack customisation package, super-lightweight 10-spoke alloy wheels and the MSO Defined Titanium SuperSports exhaust system.

Inside, we also find the GT4 sports stripe, which runs along the seat backrests. The MSO logo is stitched onto the headrests and matches the orange marker at the 12 o’clock position on the steering wheel of the supercars. Each car has a numbered plaque to certify its membership of this special edition, and each owner will be able to have a key in the same colour as the bodywork.

McLaren MSO Racing Through the Ages
Each of the models has a special significance for the history of McLaren, which is why this collection bears this name. The two cars that make up the Miruwai collection are decorated in white and blue, and their name takes us to Miruwai Beach in New Zealand. It was in this place that Bruce McLaren ran his first race, when he was 15 years old. The colour of the bodywork recalls the house built in Woking, whose façade was white and whose windows were painted blue.
The second version is named Papaya Spark. This name is intended to revive the papaya colour that Bruce McLaren used on his racing cars in the 1960s and 1970s, in competitions such as the Can-Am, the Indy 500 and Formula 1. In this case the rear spoiler is painted Burton Blue with papaya-coloured tips. This detail pays tribute to the blue spoiler used by the brand’s competition cars.
Finally, the last two cars in this special edition are framed under the name Sarthe Grey. In 1995 McLaren won overwhelmingly at Le Mans, taking first, third, fourth, fifth and thirteenth places, so it is a good reason to dedicate a place to it in this special edition of McLaren.
The Sarthe Grey colour is the same one worn by the McLaren F1 GTR that year, so it blends with the McLaren 570S to add that touch of history the brand needs. The MSO division is working harder and harder to offer this kind of special edition, which is requested by the brand’s various dealerships, with great success. So, if you liked any of them, I advise you not to think about it for too long or you will be left without your McLaren ‘Racing Through the Ages’.
