Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé4 EV, the premium electric coupé that will break the 1,000 CV barrier

The market is waiting for the next move from Mercedes-AMG with zero emissions and an electric drivetrain. In 2026 the Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé4 EV will be launched, a model that is set to surprise and offer a very attractive image to those who choose to drive one of these models. The prototype currently being tested for this model is based on the Vision AMG Concept 2022. In terms of the technical side, Mercedes-AMG has started a collaboration with Yasa to improve the electric drive system. On the battery front, the collaboration has been with the company Sila Nanotechnologies, which has provided a new high energy density battery technology.

Handling is ensured thanks to the rear-wheel steering, which allows the rear wheels to act during cornering and makes it more efficient. Aerodynamics will play a fairly important role and will help improve the vehicle’s behaviour on the road.

The launch of this model, planned for 2026, aims to set new milestones in premium electric mobility, with a vehicle that will offer many advantages over its competitors.
