New aerodynamic line for the McLaren 720S Spyder
McLaren Special Operations uses the event held at the Geneva Motor Show to draw attention to the new 720S Spyder through an innovative design.
Once the handling capabilities of the new McLaren 720S Spyder are known, the company unveils a design that accentuates the car’s aerodynamics.
A new aesthetic that highlights the areas of the car and combines art with the science of aerodynamics, thus providing a refined and elegant feel that aims to satisfy the inspirations of customers.

Harmonious combination of paints
The new convertible of the super series, McLaren 720S Spyder combines three metallic paints: cerulean blue, Burton blue and abyss black. A finish called Coriolis that demonstrates the involvement of MSO.
However, this is not the first time that McLaren Special Operations has shown such a development; two years ago at the Geneva Motor Show it did so with two shades of red for the sports coupé version.

Likewise, for this new design of the McLaren 720S Spyder, MSO’s craftsmen have dedicated more than 260 hours to completing the elements in the three shades. These shades are applied to parts such as the front splitter, the bonnet and front air intakes, the side panels, the lower door or the rear bumper and spoiler, among others.
On the other hand, the most prominent elements are finished in Meteorite Grey paint, designed specifically for this model. In turn, the forged 10-spoke wheels feature a Bespoke Abyss Black gloss finish and Bespoke Burton Blue brake calipers.

Interior and bodywork details
At the same time, it includes an exclusive glossy carbon fibre Tonneau cover, combined with the same material at the rear or upper edge. There is also the Stealth Pack for the sports exhaust in a dark finish.
In turn, inside, the McLaren 720S Spyder provides comfort and MSO design with carbon seats with gloss-finish backrests, floor mats and accelerator pedal.
Finally, even the key fob incorporates the MSO design with the combination of the three colours, a final element that reflects the blend of a luxury grand tourer and a racing car with its also twin-turbocharged 720 CV V8 engine.
