New details about the successor to the Ferrari Enzo, based on the Veyron?

With the tenth anniversary of the Ferrari Enzo fast approaching, new details have just emerged about the successor to this supercar, written in capital letters, a model that is expected to once again be the bastion of the legendary Italian marque and from which much is hoped.

With this in mind, the guys at Autocar have decided to dive in and take on rumours that tell us how the new model Ferrari would be clearly influenced by none other than the Bugatti Veyron, although with a project designed entirely from scratch compared with the original.

As for being influenced or inspired by the Veyron, we hope they mean adopting certain aerodynamic solutions, since the Veyron perhaps isn’t one of those supercars capable of winning over just anyone who casts an eye over its bodywork.

On the other hand, there has again been talk of a V8 engine fitted with a twin-turbo system, which would come with a novel hybrid system allowing it to produce more than 700 CV.

Apart from this novel mechanical system, the new Ferrari Enzo is expected, much like the Pagani Huayra, to be offered with an active aerodynamics system, as well as being built on a carbon-fibre monocoque and with a body slightly smaller than that of its predecessor.

Finally, a reminder that this model is expected to make its first appearances at the end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013, so we should soon start seeing test mules everywhere.
