New information and details about the successor to the Ferrari Enzo

It has been a long time since we discussed a vehicle as interesting as the so-called successor to the Ferrari Enzo, a supercar that should restore all the glory and status that a brand like Ferrari has been gradually losing. Not to mention that the new vehicle will have to be a worthy successor to the F40, F50, and Enzo lineage.

Given this, it is no surprise that the Italian marque wants to take its time, and we should not forget that, little by little, in the utmost secrecy of Maranello, the vehicle is taking shape. Specifically, according to Inside Line, a publication specialised in the sector that had the opportunity to interview Amadeo Felisa, CEO of Ferrari, what is coming looks more than interesting.

Specifically, the vehicle is being developed based on the principles that once led Ferrari to develop and market the Enzo, a car that, although it may not seem so, is already almost ten years old. Because of this, we can expect nothing less than a vehicle built on a carbon-fibre chassis, to which a new mid-mounted V12 engine will be fitted, rather than the supercharged V8 that was speculated about at first.

Finally, Amadeo Felisa did not make entirely clear whether Ferrari will fit some kind of KERS system in pursuit of a much more interesting hybrid vehicle. What he did want to make clear is that the brand is currently working on a series of prototypes exploring the different possibilities.
