New Peugeot 308: now with Denon sound system to captivate every ear
The Peugeot 308 features an exclusive Hi-Fi sound system signed by Denon, one of the most prestigious speaker companies, creating a unique experience.

It is not unusual to see car brands collaborating with speaker companies, with the aim of bringing more exclusive equipment to today’s cars. This is the case of Peugeot and Denon, one of the firms most specialised in sound, which has installed its new speaker system in the Peugeot 308, which was renewed relatively recently.
The intention is to provide a unique experience in the cabin of the new 308 and to differentiate itself from the competition with a more exclusive sound system. The Asian firm has developed, together with Peugeot , a set of speakers for the 308. To achieve this goal, a group of 25 engineers worked for 34,000 hours to obtain the best possible result. The French brand seeks to equip its new 308 with features that suit any potential customer.
The 308 has always stood out for its versatility, as it pleasantly combines a youthful spirit with a serious and versatile essence. The French compact proves to be a very interesting alternative when considering the purchase of a vehicle in this segment. It demonstrates this with very complete equipment that lacks none of the latest technological innovations and with handling suited to both urban environments and the open road.

But Peugeot also places great emphasis on comfort on board its flagship vehicle, which is why it developed the sound system together with Denon, to give the driver a unique experience when listening to their favourite music. The French firm has made sure that in the Peugeot 308 the sound reaches the eardrums of its occupants properly, which is why they have installed a whole arsenal of speakers throughout the cabin.
The Hi-Fi by Denon system is distributed so that the 308 features four tweeters, four 165 mm CosCone woofers, a 100 W subwoofer integrated in the boot and an advanced Class D digital amplifier. But this system will not only act on the music we are playing, but also on the engine sound. This means that, depending on the type of driving we are doing, the engine sound coming through the speakers is balanced, which makes driving a much more pleasant task.

The most noteworthy thing is that the Denon system acts intelligently. The 308 has sensors in the seatbelts and seats, so it identifies the number of passengers on board. If the driver is alone, the Hi-Fi system directs the sound towards them, and if the vehicle is full, the sound will be reproduced in surround. Without a doubt Peugeot has taken the 308 to a higher level, providing a unique sense of comfort and technology.
