Nissan Z Nismo 2024, the 426 CV coupé that won't reach Spain
This version of the Nissan Z will come with all the features that Nismo models have, it will be built for track use, and we won’t see it in Europe.

Carmakers know the market they operate in very well, so they know where to launch the models they are preparing. And that is rather frustrating for us in Spain, because there are some very striking models that won’t reach the European market. The Nissan Z Nismo 2024 is going to be launched in several markets, including the United States. But it won’t reach Europe, so we’ll be left wanting to see it on European circuits.
The new Nissan Z Nismo 2024 is the most powerful version of the model, designed to deliver maximum performance on the track. According to the brand itself, this variant offers “positive aerodynamic downforce“, thanks to new elements that enhance its aerodynamics. At the front there is a newly redesigned front bumper.

It also features a new front diffuser, based on the one used by the Fairlady 240ZG. The front canards create a vortex over the front wheels, which helps improve aerodynamics. On the sides, skirts have been fitted that reduce air resistance. At the rear sits an improved spoiler, which together with a new rear bumper completes the car’s aerodynamic configuration.
At an aesthetic level, it has new wheels and the bodywork is available in five colours. The interior has also been worked on to give it certain identifying elements exclusive to this model. There are version-specific graphics, and bucket seats by Recaro have been installed, upholstered in Alcantara and leather.

Engine of the Nissan Z Nismo 2024
Under the skin of this version we find the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine as in the regular version. However, work has been done on the boost delivered by the twin turbocharger, and an improved oil cooler has been added. With this and other minor changes, the engine has gone from producing 405 CV to delivering a considerable 420 CV and a maximum torque of 521 Nm.
The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic gearbox, which has been improved to offer faster and more efficient shifting. A Launch Control function and a Sport + driving mode have also been added, which adjusts the chassis to deliver good performance on the track.
The 19-inch wheels, designed by Ray and exclusive to this variant, are fitted with Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT600 tyres, which are 10 mm wider than those used on the Nismo Z Performance. In addition, the wheels are lighter, which helps make this version even more appealing than the one that until now was the most impressive.
