North Street Capital, Saab and some doubts
In recent hours many doubts have arisen online regarding North Street Capital, the investment company that is going to save Saab from bankruptcy. To summarise a little what has happened this week: after the threats from Guy Lofalk, we later learned that a last-minute saviour, North Street Capital, would invest 60 million as a loan (together with the subscription of more than two million shares), and that Victor Muller confessed to having rejected the Chinese offer, since they no longer wanted just to make a loan, but wanted everything; they wanted to buy the brand.
However, rumours have begun to circulate that North Street Capital is a ghost company and that behind the name there is nothing more than a virtual office. The fact that a company does not even have a small office raises doubts, although it does not necessarily have to be a company that does not exist. Let us remember that North Street Capital recently bought Spyker.
If we look at the press release that Saab Spain so kindly sent us, we see that the purchase of shares should have been completed by yesterday, about which we have not received a single line, while the cash is due to arrive next Wednesday, which we hope will turn out better.
Now, if we are bold enough to phone the offices of North Street Capital, this writer has verified that… nobody answers the calls.
