Opel adds the FlexFlix system to the Mokka and the Adam

The Opel Mokka and the Adam are the two latest models from the German brand that offers its customers the option of fitting the FlexFlix system, which makes it easy to transport up to four bicycles. This brings almost the entire range Opel into line, as this option is also available on the Corsa, Meriva, Astra and Antara.
The second-generation FlexFlix allows up to four bicycles to be transported on both the Zafira Tourer compact MPV and the Astra Sports Tourer. Meanwhile, on the Opel Mokka the maximum capacity is three bicycles, with a maximum weight of 30 kg per bicycle and 80 kg in total.
For the smallest model of all, the Adam city car, the system allows the transport of a single bicycle but, optionally, an adapter can be fitted to carry an additional one. Among the advantages of the FlexFlix system, Opel stands out in that it saves up to 20% in fuel compared with transporting bicycles on the roof, and thanks to its ergonomic design, no great effort is required to fit the bicycle.

As for the prices, this option is available from 575 euros for the Corsa, 625 euros for the Meriva, 665 euros for the five-door Astra and 690 euros for the Antara. For the second-generation system, the price is 615 euros on the Mokka plus 105 euros if the additional adapter is added, 697 euros on the Adam, 870 euros for the Astra Sports Tourer and 920 euros for the Zafira Tourer. These last two can be completed with the kit that allows two more bicycles to be carried, which costs 205 euros.
