Packesein shows off with the BMW M3

In the world of motorsport there have always been tuners and tuners, that is, projects that are truly worthwhile and others that… best not to say anything about the rest. Well, in the case of the well-executed ones, we have Packesein, which has decided to literally copy the BMW M3 GTS, and it has really shone, in the best sense of the word.
Now then, what would you do to an BMW M3 to make it resemble its GTS sibling even slightly? Indeed, reduce its weight before anything else. Well, this is where Packesein will surprise you, thanks to a weight reduction that has taken the M3 Coupé from a kerb weight of 1,650 kg to a more than respectable 1,300 kg including driver and fluids.

Now then, losing more than 350 kg is no easy task, and because of this the PM3 V8 CSL Light, which is what they have named their tuning package, has shed everything unnecessary from its cabin, such as the decorative trim on the doors, dashboard…
On the other hand, we have elements that have been replaced, such as the bonnet and tailgate, which have been swapped for carbon fibre ones, as well as several key structural parts replaced with similar ones made from titanium, magnesium or aluminium.

Finally, highlight the BBS alloy wheels or the inclusion of a FIA-certified safety cage, which means that, if you get hold of a unit of this particular M3, it is capable of taking part in certain official races.
To conclude, to carry out this project Packesein invests no less than 500 hours of hand work, hours that it undoubtedly charges for and charges well, since for each unit it sells it intends to earn no less than 160,000 euros
