Pagani Huayra L'Ultimo, the exclusive final unit, number 100, bound for the United States
Production of the Pagani Huayra ends with the final unit, called L’Ultimo, a car with many aesthetic similarities to the Mercedes F1 team

Born in 2011, the Pagani Huayra reaches the end of its life cycle now that its last one has been built, the last of the 100 units that was set as the limit when production of the model began. Luckily for motoring enthusiasts, Horacio Pagani already has the next model in the works, and has already offered some interesting hints about it, such as the fact that it will continue to use an Mercedes-AMG engine but, this time, returning to a manual gearbox.
It is precisely Mercedes-AMG that has a significant presence in this Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo, not only through the use of one of its engines, since, as you can see in the photographs, its interior and exterior décor instantly recalls the Formula 1 single-seaters of the Mercedes-AMG team. It could easily pass for one of the “company cars” of drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, despite not carrying the star painted on the outside.

The choice of these colours was not random, nor did Mercedes-AMG itself have anything to do with it. Brett David, the future owner of the Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo and owner of the company Prestige Imports, came up with the idea and drew inspiration from seeing the car of the four-time world champion in Formula 1. To be honest, the Huayra wears this décor like a glove.
To build this work of art on wheels, the Pagani factory worked tirelessly for no less than eight months. During this process they applied a large amount of carbon fibre to the entire bodywork, as well as to the various aerodynamic elements, along with other materials such as titanium, which is also present in several parts. On the exterior, the carbon fibre contrasts with the grey colour applied to most of the bodywork, along with several detail lines in green, a colour that also appears on the mirrors or as an accent on the wheels.

Inside, we find practically the same colour combination, in which the carbon fibre blends with the green tone found on the floor, the door panels, the rear of the cabin, the centre console and the transmission tunnel. These colours are only interrupted by the seats, in a well-judged white, and certain details in yellow, applied to the dials of the instrument panel and to the gear lever.
Mechanically, despite being the final unit, the Pagani Huayra L’Ultimo retains intact the characteristics of its Mercedes-AMG V12 engine, a 6,000 cc twin-turbo, which delivers 700 CV and a generous torque of 1,000 Nm, enabling it to reach 100 km/h in just 2.94 seconds.
