Peugeot 2008 GT Line by Carlos Sainz, 150 units paying tribute to the "matador"

The French lion brand recently launched the new Peugeot 2008, an update with minor changes that refreshed the previous version of this small crossover, keeping it in top form for the remaining years of its lifecycle.
On the other hand, as you may know, Carlos Sainz is an official driver for the brand and competes precisely with a Peugeot 2008, although named DKR, in the toughest rally in the world, the Dakar Rally.
Fans of the “matador” and customers of the brand should be very pleased if they were planning to purchase a Peugeot 2008 soon, since the French firm, part of the PSA Group, announces the arrival of a limited edition in honour of the Spanish driver.
The limited series of the brand’s smallest SUV will be sold exclusively in Spain, and the run will be just 150 units, all of them numbered and with a fixed equipment list.

The bodywork colour is the pearl white seen in the header image, along with 17-inch black alloy wheels, tinted windows and a sunroof. Mechanically, it is paired with the 1.2 PureTech three-cylinder petrol engine in the 130 CV version and a six-speed manual gearbox, with homologated consumption of 4.8 litres in the combined cycle.
Inside the cabin, you are greeted by a sportier look than usual, thanks to the contrast of black with red finishing details, stainless steel door sills and aluminium pedals. There are red stitching details on the front seats, on the gear lever and handbrake gaiters, on the door panels and on the floor mats. The seat belts also feature red details, as does the LED lighting of the Head-up Display.
Among other systems, the Peugeot 2008 GT Line by Carlos Sainz includes the Grip Control system, which improves traction and is unique to the front axle, a navigation system and connectivity with Mirror Screen and Apple CarPlay controlled via the 7-inch screen, as well as multiple driver assistance systems.
Its starting price is 20,000 euros, including the PIVE Plan and brand financing.
