Peugeot 3008 Hybrid: here are all the prices for the PHEV version

We now know all the prices of the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid, the new plug-in hybrid SUV from the lion brand

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid, or, to put it another way, the plug-in hybrid variant of the successful French crossover, has already reached dealerships, so it could make it onto the list of the 10 best hybrid and electric SUVs of 2020. We therefore already know all its prices and equipment.

The compact SUV from the brand is offered in two versions with a plug-in hybrid powertrain: Hybrid and Hybrid4. In the first case, we have a 180 CV PureTech petrol engine and an 80 kW electric motor on the front axle, giving front-wheel drive and a total output of 225 CV. Here, the 13.2 kWh battery powers the electric motor to deliver 40 km of electric range, just enough to earn the DGT Zero Emissions label.

The top-of-the-range variant uses the same PureTech petrol engine, although this time the output rises to 200 CV and it is paired with two electric motors, one on each axle, which together add 80 kW, that is, 110 CV. As a result, the total output of the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 is 300 CV. In this version not only does the power increase, but the electric range climbs to 59 km.

What both alternatives share is the e-EAT8 automatic gearbox, developed specifically for the brand’s new electrified models. The Hybrid and Hybrid4 versions are available with the highest trim levels in the range: Allure, GT-Line and GT. The entry-level Active trim is therefore excluded. For this reason, we are going to reveal all the prices of the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid as well as their equipment.

These are the prices and equipment of the Peugeot 3008 Hybrid

Allure: from 39,600 euros

Peugeot 3008 AllureThe entry-level trim of the Peugeot 3008 plug-in hybrid range is the Allure, priced from 39,600 euros. In this case, we can only choose the Hybrid version, that is, the front-wheel-drive, 225 CV one.

The standard equipment is already comprehensive, with safety features such as lane departure warning, light assist, sign recognition, emergency braking assistance and a driving mode selector. Additionally, it comes with dual-zone climate control, an i-Cockpit with an 8-inch touchscreen and 18-inch alloy wheels.

To this equipment we can add Full LED front headlights (+950 €), a rear-view camera (+250 €), a hands-free tailgate (+450 €) and wireless smartphone charging (+99.99 €).

We can also add cosmetic features such as the Black Diamond two-tone roof (+350 €), aluminium roof rails (+200 €) and an opening panoramic roof (+1,500 €). Finally, we can add the 7.4 kW charger (+300 €).

GT-Line: from 41,850 euros

Peugeot 3008 Gt LineThe GT-Line trim gives the Peugeot 3008 a sportier look. In this case, we can also choose either the Hybrid version or the most powerful model in the range, the 300 CV Hybrid4. We therefore have two starting prices: from 41,850 euros for the Hybrid and from 45,350 euros for the Hybrid4.

In this case, the Black Diamond roof and the aluminium roof rails are added as standard. We can also add features such as the Focal premium sound system (+850 €), the Visiopark 2 pack with front and rear cameras and 360º view (+900 €) or a massage function for the front seats (+1,300 €).

GT: from 43,500 euros

Peugeot 3008 GtThe GT trim level is the highest in the lion brand’s compact SUV range. Therefore, it is available in the Hybrid (from 43,500 €) and Hybrid4 (from 47,000 €) versions.

Here we get standard features such as the i-Cockpit Amplify, which includes changes to the ambient lighting, fragrance diffusion and massaging seats. Additionally, we get Full LED headlights and the Drive Assist and Safety Plus Pack. In this case the wheels are 19 inches. Optional equipment also includes features such as the “grey oak” interior trim (+200 €), along with the rest of the items in the GT-Line pack.

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid was developed in parallel with its close relative, the Opel Grandland X Hybrid4, so it has an in-house rival. We will have to wait and see which of the two manages to come out on top and become the best-selling plug-in hybrid SUV in the PSA Group.
