Polestar Polestar 3 Análisis Electric Cars SUV
Polestar 3 achieves another success in hot-climate tests
The Swedish electric car manufacturer successfully passes tests of its Polestar 3 model in hot climates in the United Arab Emirates, getting closer to final production

The latest project from Polestar, the Polestar 3, is moving at full speed and is about to complete a series of rigorous tests in extremely hot climates in the United Arab Emirates. Following its dazzling global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England in mid-2023, the Swedish company’s development engineers headed to the challenging deserts and sweltering metropolises of Dubai and Abu Dhabi to subject their vehicle to an extreme temperature scenario and complete the remaining tests.
The testing has been exhaustive, with temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius (122° F), but Polestar has shown that its latest creation is ready to face the most extreme challenges. This marks a significant step toward the start of production, scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

An elegant SUV in the middle of the desert
The Polestar 3, the Swedish engineering achievement that was unveiled in early September in Madrid, has been meticulously designed for the modern era and has undergone performance testing in some of the most demanding climatic conditions in the world. This journey through the heart of the United Arab Emirates has allowed engineers to fine-tune the vehicle’s climate control system, ensuring it can maintain occupant comfort even in the most hostile environments.
Thomas Ingenlath, the chief executive of Polestar, was enthusiastic about the progress of the development programme. “The Polestar 3 is at the beginning of its journey, and customers can now visit our retail stores around the world, see its generous proportions and sit inside its exclusive, innovative interior”, he said.

Global availability
Polestar enthusiasts in 27 markets around the world can already explore display prototypes of the Polestar 3 at brand-designated spaces. These showcase vehicles allow prospective buyers to experience the elegance and performance of this electric SUV ahead of its official launch. In addition, test cars will be available to the public in 2024. For those who can’t wait, the Polestar 3 is already available to order online on the official website: Polestar.com.
The future of Polestar
Polestar has great plans for the future. The Swedish brand aims to launch five high-performance electric vehicles by 2026, demonstrating its commitment to sustainable and cutting-edge mobility. In 2019, it launched the Polestar 2, a high-performance electric fastback that caught the attention of every car enthusiast.

With the Polestar 3, the brand entered the competitive electric SUV market at the end of 2022, and the Polestar 4, a transformed SUV coupé, will arrive in phases through 2023 and 2024. But innovation doesn’t stop there: Polestar plans to launch the Polestar 5, a four-door electric GT, and the Polestar 6, an electric roadster, in the near future. These vehicles represent Polestar’s vision of an exciting automotive future, where elegance and performance combine in a unique driving experience.
