Porsche Taycan Sedans Electric Cars
Porsche has been able to give the new Taycan up to 587 km of range
The iconic electric sports car from Porsche is renewed with greater range, efficiency and a lightning-fast charge capable of going from 10 % to 80 % in under 20 minutes

Porsche‘s latest feat in the world of electric vehicles is not only about impressive numbers; it is an electric twist. Porsche has unveiled the renewed beast of the Taycan, which was put through an epic road test between Los Angeles and San Diego, proving its power with a range of 587 kilometres on a journey along Interstates 5 and 405.
From Stuttgart, they have proudly announced the results for the last quarter of 2023, delivering a total of 77,499 vehicles despite a slight 12% drop. But things are not always what they seem: the full year shows a 3.3% increase, totalling 320,221 vehicles sold.
A lap of the Nürburgring? Pfft, that’s child’s play for the renewed Taycan. Lars Kren, the master behind the wheel, also left his mark on this Porsche model by achieving an epic time of 7:07.550 minutes, outshining even the dreaded Tesla Model S Plaid and establishing itself as the king of the track.

A challenge for range
In a realistic, everyday competition, twelve fearless international journalists boarded the Taycan to take on the challenge from Los Angeles to San Diego. With speeds of up to 120 km/h, they proved that the Taycan can cover 587 kilometres on a single charge, highlighting its efficiency on the road and its ability to break the monotony of charging stops.*
And speaking of charging, the new Taycans charged in style at the Electrify America Charger stations in Torrance/Los Angeles, showing they can draw more than 300 kW for long minutes and go from 10 % to 80 % in under 20 minutes, several times over.

With nearly 150,000 units of the Taycan roaring on the streets since its launch, Porsche is leaving an indelible mark in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China. The much-anticipated renewed Taycan is about to make its grand entrance.
Double the thrill, triple the power
At the heart of the Taycan are two permanent magnet motors, one on each axle, which unleash a maximum output of 460 kW (625 CV) for 10 seconds. But the story doesn’t end there: overboost makes the difference between the Turbo and Turbo S, reaching peaks of 500 kW (680 CV) and 850 Nm of torque, or 560 kW (761 CV) and 1,050 Nm respectively.*

With these figures, the Taycan proves that electrification is not only environmentally friendly but also thrilling, as it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. This electric supercar is an ode to speed and efficiency.
