Sales of Polestar in 2025 grew, surpassing 60 thousand vehicles
Investors are eagerly awaiting the quarterly results that Polestar will present on February 18, where the company’s next steps will be detailed and relevant information on new products and financial prospects will be offered.
The Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer, under the control of the Chinese giant Geely, closed 2025 with a notable rebound in its sales. The company delivered a total of 60,119 cars globally, representing an increase of roughly 33 percent compared with the 44,851 units sold in 2024.
Polestar thus returned in 2025 to the path of growth in sales volume, after two consecutive years of decline, achieving its best year in terms of retail sales in its history, as the company itself has explained.

These good results have been possible, to a large extent, thanks to the market launch of new electric models, as is the case of the Polestar 3 and the Polestar 4, which enjoyed a full year on sale for the first time. The Polestar 2, meanwhile, also remained strong, after having been renewed in the summer of 2024.
It is also important to point out that growth was steady throughout last year. In the first quarter deliveries rose 76 percent, in the second 38 percent, in the third 13 percent and in the fourth 27 percent, with a total of 15,608 vehicles in the last three months of the year.
Polestar shines in the heart of Europe
Germany stood out as one of the most dynamic markets for the company. In the German market, 5,007 units were sold, which amounts to roughly one in every twelve vehicles delivered globally. With an impressive increase of 57 percent over the previous year, Germany became the company’s most important market.

“We are growing in Germany much faster than the market and we are among the best in the premium segment. New openings, a solid team and collaboration with dealers lay the foundations for lasting success.”
In 2025 several Polestar Spaces were also opened in various German cities, such as Saarbrücken, Offenbach, Berlin, Munich and Karlsruhe, and the opening of a new one in Bonn is expected during this very month of January 2026 in which we currently are. The company plans to reach 30 of these spaces in Germany by 2027.
