The traffic division of the Italian Polizia will have 58 units of the Seat Exeo ST as a vehicle to safeguard safety and maintain order on Italian roads. The engine chosen for the Exeo ST is the 2.0 TDi of 143 CV, an engine that, despite its performance, has quite modest fuel consumption.

The Seat Exeo ST of the Italian Polizia, which feature the blue and white colours typical of the force, come with the Style trim and have been adapted for police use. Meanwhile, on home soil, Seat has also supplied 45 vehicles to the Barcelona Urban Guard, all of which are Altea XL E-Ecomotive models with the 1.6 TDi engine of 105 CV.

In this way, all 200 vehicles at the disposal of the Barcelona local police are Seat models, backing the brand that has its facilities in Martorell, whose mayor also uses an Seat Exeo as his official vehicle.

Setting aside the cars chosen by the Barcelona local police to carry out their duties, I find the Italian commitment to the Exeo ST for traffic duties interesting, a force that likes to use domestic vehicles such as the Alfa Romeo 159 SW. It is interesting that it buys foreign models, especially the Exeo in particular.

In Spain, the first generation of the Seat Toledo was also used by the National Police, and they currently have some Altea XL, but the bulk of the fleet is made up of Citroën C4 Picasso.
