Seat Mii Ecofuel: the eco-friendly solution for urban mobility

Seat has unveiled its first two vehicles that run on either petrol or compressed natural gas interchangeably. We recently told you about the León TGI, which should already be available at dealerships by now. Seat has also presented the Mii Ecofuel, an even more economical option, especially designed for urban use, with the savings offered by CNG.

Just like the petrol-powered Mii, the Ecofuel version features a three-cylinder engine with 999 cm3. In the CNG version, the compact powerplant produces 68 CV, with a maximum torque of 90 Nm. Consumption is the priority here, and for those looking to spend less on fuel it is a good choice, as it consumes 2.9 kg of CNG per 100 km, or the equivalent of 4.3 L/100 km.

The engine of the new Seat Mii Ecofuel has been designed specifically to run on CNG, but it can also run on petrol. The Mii Ecofuel’s range with the CNG tank full is 380 kilometres; the additional petrol tank is small, holding just 11 litres, but it adds 220 kilometres to the distance that can be covered without refuelling, for a total of 600 kilometres with both tanks full. A dedicated fuel level gauge on the instrument cluster shows the remaining quantity in each tank.

The Mii Ecofuel will be available in 3- and 5-door bodies with Reference and Style trim levels, at starting prices of €12,240 for the Reference version and €13,610 for the Style.
